Editorial reviews (3 reviews)

Jefferson's tale is definitely not dry or boring. This historical fiction is chock full of political machinations and debauchery!

Jealous women, competitive men, power struggles—the treacherous world of the court is familiar, predictable and disappointing.

Overall though this was a charming, fast read that also had a lot of historic substance.
